I am blessed with the AZ water that has more minerals than H2O...
Doing the best to keep any water off my truck since it leaves white dry water ring marks and are a bitch to remove. Any idea what to use to remove them? Like add in the water washing bucket and get rid of them?
After the rains we had here, dust and minerals made my truck look like it has a skin rash.

I've had success with 303 speed detailer on getting hard water spots off.
I found a video online that showed em using air to dry the car off to help prevent spotting. I went to Sears and got a shop vac that doubles as a leaf blower. When I wash my truck I use it to blow it dry.

    Mostly stuff I built.
I alway put some Jet dry in my wash bucket. Helps with the high calcium content water we have here.

Adams polishes waterless wash. Wash the truck, dry it and if there are any spots left over just spray this stuff on a dry microfiber and wipe them off. Smells pretty good too

Opimum No Rinse wash has a built in water softener to counter your hard water.
There are numerous products out there designed to remove the hard water spots from your paint.
It all depends on how badly the spots are etched into the paint. As suggested try the vinegar first.

Does it work well on current water spots or to prevent water spots?

Water Spots on Glass I use my Griot's G9 with a 5 inch white polishing pad, and Blackfire Glass Water Spot Remover. Put some on the pad, put pad on window and start with a 2 or 3 speed. Once it's spread around bring it up to a 5-6 and once it starts to haze up wipe it off. I just did my windows for the first time yesterday since owning from 2014. Not a mark, small scratch etc left on the glass. Afterwards I use a Black Pad and apply Blackfire Paint Sealant to protect the glass.
