Hondo garage used to just be small parts and small orders and was a one man shop. Their entire focus is now GFC. They have 6 month lead times in them now.

It’s not bad business’ it’s too much business

Knowing when to stop taking orders is part of being a good business

A good business today is not defined by customer satisfaction but it’s bottom line. Where have you been living.

I'm not too sure anymore, the last couple of years have made me wonder. I like the idea of Hondo's products but if you can't get them but they will take your money.... well that seems shortlived at best. Then you aren't a business at all. And if they are getting that big and sales are good, it should be no problem to hire a nice young person to take care of all the little orders like this while the other guys go for a dip in the GFC money pool (ala Scrooge McDuck)

Well I hope you get your stuff. Just remember a lot of these aftermarket companies are also side gigs for people and not complete lively hoods.

I can’t speak for anybody else but my problem isn’t the wait, it’s the lack of communication. Even if they sent out a mass email along the lines of “sorry about the wait, we’re super busy and we didn’t forget about you, we’ll try to get your stuff out soon” I’d be happy. I don’t care if I have to wait a month for the product, it was this forum that convinced me it was the best option to begin with. But it does frustrate me that it’s been weeks and apparently they can’t respond to any of their customers.

    Mostly stuff I built.
I ordered a dash mount and big squeeze in May. It got delivered after I returned from my trip to Colorado in June that I ordered it for. Experienced the same no communication from them on shipping info after multiple unanswered phone calls and canned text email responses. Seems like with the launch of GFC they don’t have time anymore.

I ordered some simple knobs back on the 5th no shipping confirmation. I was hoping to get them soon. We’ll see, I’m patient.
