Don’t assume the bulbs are good just because they look okay. That has tripped me up before.

So I keep going through alternators. I am in my 3rd one, they last like 2-3 months so I might have a short somewhere?

Bobbed the bed. My ass sticks out when I’m on the rubicon. I back into a lot of shit and it can make it tough getting around trees. Plus better departure angle

Only took 3 trips to two auto parts stores and finally one hardware store to get the right o-ring for the speed sensor gear. Got to love small local hardware stores for having everything under the damn sun

Bolt on. The larger Pittman puller makes the job easy. @turbodb

They're scored hardcore. Looks like the oil pump gave up the ghost and took out the rest if the engine when it lost pressure.

The surface looks so jacked up, I'm pretty sure bearings, crank or rod bearings, don't look to scratched up like that.

Was thinking of doing the same. What don’t you like? Heard they were a little loose after install.

Since everyone else has answered already, I'll do it again. Bolt on.

I'll write it up and post lots of pics of the (simple) process once we're done posting the De-Tour trip report.
