Not sure...but I’m seriously considering it for my son when he’s kindergarten age. It’s what @Apexgigi does for her son. She added me to the FB group for SC over a year ago and everybody who’s made the move to it seems very happy with their decision. I’d observed that most of the kids doing it seem to advance way beyond the kids in brick and mortar schools.

As the parent, you’re not actually responsible for the teaching per se since it’s still considered a public school but you’re there to assist and “coach” your child. I believe working ahead of schedule is ok if it’s a subject they’re advancing in and I think they can even test out of some subjects. Gigi would know more specifics than I since I’m just an outside observer at this point.

Also, since it’s considere “public” school everything is provided so it’s tuition free.

Nah...but whenever we decide to do a bbq, that looks like it would be delicious.

Ok, I been considering doing this with my son. I’ve heard a lot of people seem to like it, it just seems like it would make things easier if we had to go on a last minute trip or something.
