They were only doing rear diff's for those that were on the recall. Some others just got lucky with their stealership. Check your vin # and if your not on it..... all you can do is call corporate and/or go from dealer to dealer and see.

I was under the assumption even if you aren't on the recall, they still have to "fix" it under warranty, correct?

That would be correct to a point.... depends on the dealer and most just clean it off and retourqe.

Yeah that's fine I'd be fine with retorque and top off my fluid. I'm not expecting a new diff by any means. A new gasket would be nice however. I'll buddy up with my SA. I've been pretty cooperative with them.

Mine went like this....last year around april
Leaking- took it in and they retourqed it.... didn't work.
Took it in again and they took the truck for 38 days waiting for parts. Replaced new diff, axle seals and brakes. It's all connected.
Leaking again a few months ago, took it in and they said "it looks like who ever did the repair didn't clean it off after."
It was a brand new parts under there, clean enough to eat off of and they were the dealership that repaired it. They retourqed and sent me on my way. I am still monitoring, but in the mean time I just lost power steering as I apparently blew the rack and pinion.

Dang that's a string of bad luck. Hopefully you are still under warranty and they take care of it for you

Toyota voided warranty... because of lift, bumper, and off road damage. I am tired of arguing with dealers.

salmonmigration The link for the T-SB-0055-18: Water Leak at Rear of Cab - Center High Mount Stop Lamp isn't working. I've been searching all over the place and this is the closest I have been. Would you be able to send it to or post it as a .PDF Thanks!

Great info. Thanks Salmon. I’m having the 62-18 and the 63-18 done on my taco. Dealer had to order all the fan parts for the 63-18.
