Sorry OP, I have it on good authority that you are no longer allowed to post here since you're getting an OR.

I won't even like this post...obviously you haven't driven that Geo southbound on I75 from Cincinnati up the hill across the river, in a crosswind.

Pffft, I spit on the "beast" when I got to the top...pshaww and harrumph to you, good sir!

I traveled 2hrs to save $4500 when I purchased mine, I think you could get more off MSRP

In Canada things are really simple if you want an automatic truck in Double Cab.

    Sport - Long box only
Off Road - Short box only

As I read this, different people state that there is no difference in the price of the OR and the Sport. That's not really true, the OR will have higher insurance, higher maintenance cost and you can expect to give up 2-3 MPG
    Look before you leap.

This where I’m at. My once a month foray into easy to mild beginnerish OR trails is just my speed. 95% of my driving will be in pavement which the Sport feels as though it handles it better, to me at least. Besides, I liked the look of the Sport better.

If I remember correctly I used cars.com and started looking for the color and package I wanted and when I found it I sent the dealership an email that I'm interested in that specific truck. After they contacted me back I asked them what the sale price was. Sticker was $40,428 and they responded with a sale price of $36,333. Sorry it wasn't a $4500 discount, still a pretty good discount for a sale in August not trying to make room for the 18s. The dealership I dealt with was Carbone in Bennington, Vt.

Why do you assume that insurance would be different? Sure don't think a Sport knocks down 3 MPGs more than an Off Road does either.
