School as in a university? If so get something with 4 doors, that way you can drive the whole squad to a party.

I still manage to cram all my friends in the back of the extended cab when we go out. It's not comfortable, but it works.

 

Or take home all the chicks from the party

That’s why house parties are better, everyone shows up with their drinks or there’s a keg waiting.

 

Only problem with the truck is the one rule:

No mods

I can't speak for others, but the older I get, the less I give a shit about doing mods.

Well that’s not it

 

The last eight years it seems every car I've owned get less and less for mods, more like light upgrades. The next Tacoma is not getting anything but OEM running boards.

These trucks are plenty capable stock on good rubber.
