That's great. Half the time I can't even get numbers out of people.

What color did you go with? Seems like in my area if you want black, cement or mgm you have more negotiating power.

I'm partial to Silver, so I got another Silver Tacoma. It may not arrive until late September, but I am assured the price and financing will be the same.

I think i got a pretty good deal, 24k.walkout SR access cab MG. Brand new. They took my trade in, owed 17300 payoff on a 15 mustang with low miles. I always wanted a Taco and finally did it. Too good of a deal to pass on what yall think. Will post pics soon.

I'm looking for an auto DCSB 4x4 Sport with the premium package; what price should I am for? I heard the Costco price is $1600 under invoice... That would place the cost of the truck (with premium and tech) at $34905 - can it get lower? I live in Chicago and doesn't seem like the dealers are moving the Tacomas very fast.

    Lastly - would $35k be a good price on a 4x4 Limited?

What was your trade in value? That could make a big difference.

You paid ~$40k without rebate or trade-in. I don't know if that's could classify as savings.

    So overall, you paid OVER the MSRP? $33,800 + $5,500 + $1,000 = $40,300

OK, thanks for the clarification. I couldn't figure out how they can discount it that much.

I bought an OR with tech and premium. Tried Costco and the number quoted was $2,929 below MSRP ($41,633).

Later went back to the same dealer, on my own. and the offer (same config) was $3,629 below MSRP ($700 lower).

Eventually wound up with a dealer who could match that, and thrown in the tonneau cover, for $3,647 below MSRP. With rebate that made it $4,647 below MSRP, or $1,460 below invoice.

I'd say $1600 below invoice is pretty good.

2018, Cement, DCSB OR with premium and tech package and tube steps / mudguards/ door sill protector.

THe MSRP is 41,701 and USAA is quoting me 38,670 (not including my military discount). I've heard of people getting these for around 36k, is that insane or possible?you

    What do you guys think?

How did you get to this price? Any tips? I used USAA for a price, and they were only giving me 3k off including the 1k rebate from toyota... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Start your negotiation all online and don’t talk to anyone on the phone until you think they’re done budging.

Talk to a few different dealers and just be straight with them when it’s time to buy and you think you’re close to a deal you’d sign for.

I really think a lot depends on location. If none of the other local dealers give deep discounts there isn’t much of an incentive for price drops and that’s fine you may just have to travel a bit to get the best price.
