Thanks Fortunately I never have liked to keep everything turned on not for that reason tho but because I spent many hours working on 6 Volt systems and with everything on the High Amp draw hits could do strange things to the Lucas Electrical systems that were bad enough as it was So just habit of mine.

It will also happen if it is off, you start the truck and then turn the fan from off or lowest setting to high. The plastic piece can't handle the force from the shaft of the motor.

What really has me in disgust is the rear diff leaking now from the front seal of the cone. This will be 3rd trip for same issue. Maybe a new rear end coming, might be all that I’ll accept at this point.

Understood, but yes it has to be a step procedure....
Start truck with fan off or on lowest setting and never just flip it to highest setting. Need to go through every speed or..... or get the new piece to replace it. Or let it break and take it in to the dealer.

I use to do major Rewiring of Classic Cars, Trucks, Bikes and early boats I loved it only reason I got out of it was after you spend 6 hours laying on your back upside down looking up under the dash you spent the next entire day recovering from it.

Maybe we'll never have to flush our rear diff cause they will keep changing out gaskets and putting new fluid in...

I’ve had it up to here with a certain dealer here in San Diego, it’s like pulling teeth getting anything covered under warranty. Battery leaking in first service... would not replace until it left me to jump my truck 4am @ 24k, asked about my rear diff, said my vin not on recall... I said I’m not talking about a recall, it’s leaking, they said it’s normal seepage. What kind of response is this!!!??? Nothing on a vehicle is suppose to “seep”, weep, or leak!

Sorry, my pics of my diff are in the post prior to my last post... I can’t believe they could say that with straight face after seeing that. I’m in process now of going through corporate...

Get on the horn with corporate---unfortunately some dealers need a little motivation to do their jobs

I’m at dealership now and waiting on reply. She stated it’s the first one she has dealt with on the front seal leaking. I saw a 2018 I’d swap for, got them running numbers. Factory warranty out in 1000 miles and price is crazy for the extended warranty but all kind other little things keep popping up. 35000 Miles to me truck still too new for out of pocket expenses for fixes this soon.

What's this part about jack being too short? I've never tried mine out.
