That's awesome. I was never bashful about camping in the rain . But since I got the RTT we do 3-4 days in the rain no problem at all. Love it

We are currently in a little cabin and I think it’s supposed to rain all week. :(

I’ve been asleep a few hours and now wide awake. I need off nights.

I was messing with you because the cover was off.

I do like the color matched bed bars though. I bet you’re going to enjoy that!

Don’t know how all y’all feel about weapons, but I need recommendations on a good sidearm for CCW.
Preferably ones that people have carried with experience.

I have a ruger but it’s a little bulky to carry IMO

    First, love'em
Second, I would get what fits you best and what you shoot best with. Go to a LGS that rents and shoot a bunch.

I'm a Glock fanboy  I like my G43 just b/c of the size. I also love my G23 too.

I have been wanting to get my hands on a S&W MP 2.0.
I have a Stealth Arms 1911 kit sitting around that needs to be built

I have a buddy that has a glock and I love how ergonomic it feels. Fits my hand perfectly

I'm in the wrong part of the nation. We open carry .44 at the market. Haha

    Honestly, my daily is a S&W 1911SC e series. Before that was a Ruger Sr1911 commander length. Also have a g19 and a lcp380.

The best carry will always be the one you're most comfortable with. I second going to the local range and renting out the cabinet. I'm also a big fan of the M&p 9m . My buddy had his truggtr set touched up by a Smith and it feels great .

I think a lot of people buy them b/c they are what the average person thinks of when someone says pistol. I did a shit ton of research before I ever bought one. I ended up with the 23 b/c I knew I could get a 9mm(19) and 357 sig(32) conversion barrel if I wanted.
The worst thing would be to buy a gun you hate to shoot.

The gun stores that I've been in that rents, would let you shoot any gun you wanted.....you just had to buy their ammo.

Pretty standsst rule for most shops. Normally I put two mags through a firearm and my mind is made up.

Btw, hk double stack .45 with rmr site and silencer on it...magic. holds 14. I put 10 down range. I gave it back to my brother to shoot before it was too late.
