I can tell you from personal experience, that they won’t catch many criminals if they try and chase them in that SR utility, LOL

I can tell you from personal experience, with a couple well-placed, discreet vehicles the chase isn't necessary.

 

I always thought this would make a good stake-out or surveillance van. I am not in law enforcement though, so what do I know?

 

I've seen some random normal vehicles around memphis suddenly flash blue lights and stop people. Like 10-20 year old sedans and minivans. Totally unmarked. Seriously blend right in. Once saw an old beat up work van with ladder on its rack had a car pulled over and an officer got out wearing tactical gear beyond what you normally see at a traffic stop.

 

Not all police wrongdoings are accomplished by ALL police, so the point is moot. Back to the regularly scheduled program.

 

They needed a new one when they realized they made a huge mistake.

 

You'd put LEDs all over it and ruin the "low visibility" profile of it though

 

That happens in my area too. Nothing like seeing a rusted out 1990's Corolla with flaking paint having someone pulled over lol.

Manassas, VA used to have a red 1990's F-350 dually they would pull people over in all the time like 8 years ago. Made me do a double take every time they sniped someone on rt 234 in that thing.
