They did feel like they were a little bit brighter, not a lot though. The beam is definitely more focused.

Don't quite match the LED DRL though it seems?
I'll report more on the Tundra LED once they come in and I get them installed.

Here are some pics of mine too, in the smokey twilight. If nothing else this demonstrates the appearance to oncoming traffic. In the daytime, I like to drive with the DRLs and fog lights on. At night most of the time I use the low beams and fog lights. I actually prefer this to the high beams for the narrow country roads with lower speeds. I usually only use the high beams on 55+ mph roads. I definitely have become a fan of these Lexus fogs on my Tacoma.

Installed the Lexus/2018 Tundra LED fogs over the weekend.

The fog on the driver side is still factory halogen. Passenger is Tundra LED.

Thank you everyone for the comparison/output pictures! Does anyone have the DOT Rigid kit that could post up the same kind of shots?

Did you change out anything on headlights? Are the Tundra fogs brighter then stock?

The headlights have Xenon Depot Xtreme LED Pro swap ins into the low beam projector. The Tundra fogs are about the same brightness as stock, but are more directed toward the ground (due to the cutoff) than the factory. They are not night and day difference, and I imagine the Rigid Industries set is brighter, but for $50, these are a nice upgrade. You also get the whiter light to closer match the LED headlights and DRLs.

So you bought aftermarket and not OEM, which ones did you buy?

I've been debating the Lexus, Morimoto XB's or KC. KC has 866 lumens, XB supposedly has 1123(i think i read)... The Tundra sounds like another nice option as well, although it looks like stock is around 320 lumens...

Interesting that the Tundra fog is only 320. I have not gotten the chance to drive at night yet to see if I notice a difference.

This link stated 320 on the LED, so I figured that was about stock. The h11 bulb is rated at 1250ish (some list higher, some list lower). The other factor that comes into play is how the beam is reflected or projected into the road. I imagine that is where all of the lights will differ.

I just replaced a set of XBs with a set of KC G4s and the actual output of the G4s trumps the XB output.
The spread and clarity from the G4 is wider and taller than the XB, thus providing much more usable light from the driver's seat. I wish I had taken before and after output shots, but missed that chance. I'm very happy with the performance of the G4...much more so than the XB.

I have the DOT Rigids. They are not wide. Light is diffused vertically a lot. They’re almost auxilliary driving lights. I can post output pics next time I’m out.
