ah yeah that wouldn't make sense why its giving a problem then.... I know we used a wall mount for one of the 6112s and he didn't have an issue cranking down on it

 

I am not sure....I just had two shops tell me they can't do it.
Taking it to Haddad now. Don't really want to but.....

 

@Cativelense what kind of role model would you be for your kids buy not sharing the skills of @tacobell007?

The way Drew made it sound is that it's all getting shipped through Fastenal & will be at the closest one to you. I originally thought the same thing; I can ask the question to Eddy if needed.

That's what the wife is for, to teach the kiddos how to share and all of that fun stuff, since she's a kindergarten teacher.

 

The stove has a nice design for fluffing the ash up and out of the burn pot so it recommends the soft wood pellets I believe...But yea, experimenting is key..

We left the stove burning alone all the time...just couldn't NOT do it. The house is baseboard electric and all the thermostats are set at 50F for the winter. I don't want the heat turning on. It's $20 a day electric to heat the house to 65F...Our first month in the house was Dec of 2003 and our first electric bill was $600!!! Now we are at about $300/Mo year round with the budget system. My house is a "house of the fuuuuture" with 100% electric everything. 1954 ranch...Zero chance of a gas line being run up the road and $15,000 just to dip your toe in an oil forced hot air install...We'll ride the pellets until we sell the house and move someplace warm and my tacoma can stop rusting!

 

I may ask after he gets back to me just so we know what to expect. It would suck for one of us to go and pick up thinking it was just their stuff then find 4 sets of sliders and a set of skids to move; I don't think that would all fit into the bed of a Taco.

Did you ever take a look at this upgrade? I believe it's designed for the non-JBL premium headunits; everything is drop in replacements but, my god did it make a difference. I doubt it would compare to a dedicated audio install but for quick and easy it made a world of difference in how it sounds; well worth the cost & time.

 

I have hot water baseboard heat. Our average electric bill is only about $100/month so far since we bought the house last December. We typically keep the thermostat on about 68 during the winter but this past winter I was at about a tank of oil every 4-5 weeks. At about $600/ tank it was a pretty expensive winter. Sometime within the next couple years I will most likely be getting a solar hot water system installed and luckily it should pay itself off in about 5-7 years

 

All this talk of Drew’s handy skills has me thinking of all the maintenance I need done to the truck and I may need to jump on this train

Hey just been busy so it’s hard for me to keep up with what’s going on. And then when it moves so quickly I don’t have time to try to figure out what I’ve missed. Plus trying not to spend money on the taco this year. So far I’ve been successful
