Read the manual. It explains it and gives you the voltage levels it’ll cut out at and kick back in at.

Did you have issues with it getting hot mounted like this? I just took mine out for a 3 day trip and didn’t realize I had one side of the ventilation blocked and it began to get quite hot (not the internal compartment, the electronics that run it). I moved it off then seat about an inch an a half and problem solved. I hope I didn’t hurt anything when I did this. Just a heads up so you don’t have the same issue.

Aside from the operator error the fridge worked awesome. Thrilled with the purchase, SO much nicer than a cooler.

Nope. Mine was fine. I just made sure to put something between the cooler and the seat to give it an air gap.

I did. Just so i'm understanding it correctly in plain terms. If i put it on LOW that means the fridge will use use more battery, cutting off power until it reaches a low 10.2v.

and High setting is just basically more battery protection....

Anyone played with this enough to know this? Heading off on a multi-day trip and would rather not experiment. Thanks...

Deeper spot is colder, it’s lined in metal where the cooling lines presumably are. In most fridges they call the shallow bit the dairy compartment; where you would put items you don’t want to freeze.

I had mine set to 35 and ended up with some slushy beers, 39 seems about perfect!

The deeper spot gets a little frosty on contact if you are using the basket the temps are very close

Eco mode also drops the temps a little lower to run the compressor less as well

Kids are loving having cold water in the garage but it's time to start using it on the road so how is everyone powering their fridges in the truck?

I’m running a always on wire to a 12v plug either under the drivers seat or in the back of the center console to power mine.
