The forum doesn't promote illegal activity. Don't take it the wrong way.... It's not necessary for the MODS to always handle the situations when other forum members are willing to step in and remind you (and everyone else).

Obviously - you can do whatever you want. But please don't post about it here. This is a public forum and there are lots of people (including children) who come here. The forum doesn't want to be responsible for advertising such activities and blaming fault on the forum.

    Peace

no one was promoting or advertising he simply shared an experience. we've all done it but its not a big deal i didnt say it all im saying that certain people on here shouldnt jump on everyones a** about every little detail...and if their are kids we shouldnt have off topic discussions and underground threads about peoples wives and girlfriends...not saying i dislike it but some pictures posted can be considered porn...now if what ur saying about kids roaming on this site is true then i recommend we take out those threads. or! have a page warning people that there are certain things on this website that are inappropriate for those under 18

When you talk about street racing freely - that's as good as promoting it. Anytime you read about it - someone is gonna think it's OK.

But hey, I was simply stepping in to stand behind what 05TacoTRD was saying. I can totally relate and agree with those rules.

As for those 'female' related posts - I can totally agree with you. I don't participate nor do I even read those posts. Posting pictures isn't illegal. The content within those pictures could be questionable - I agree. Obviously - there's nothing in the rules about it. I don't make the rules. I just like to support where support (of the rules) is needed.

    Well said janster

    no...we havent all done it

theres a reason the underground is now hidden...and thats why...because there are some people who didnt want to see it or didnt think it should be available to just anyone who happens upon the site...the street racing discussion isnt allowed here...in any capacity...

you may be mature enough to understand that its stupid and unsafe...but the 17 year old (no offense to some of yall here) with his brand new truck may not

    Lots.
It was a one time thing. The guys in the ford were actually laughing at the tacoma and revved there engine at the light. After we went I got about two car lengths and let off. Never went above 50mph.

But sorry yes I completely agree and was in no way trying to promote street racing of any kind.

Just simply the weight to power ratio.

i agree. But "fast" is all relative. If all one has ever driven is a volvo 240d then yeah... i guess the tacoma is "fast". But anything with 230hp and 4000lbs with aero dynamics of a brick can't be all that quick. My daily driver is a supercharged 1998 Jetta with a tick over 300hp and i don't even think that car is fast.

What will the taco 4.0 beat. The nissan fonty is faster in my opinion by alittle bit, but I'm putting on an intake to make up some of the difference. I'm coming from a Nissan Titan that I had a banks and S&B intake on , bumped the timing and could smoke anything but the new tundra. So racing is fun, winning is better. The ticket is yours, keep it under the speed limit and give it off the line and I've never been in trouble.

My list of wins. F150 not even close smoked every time at all speeds for the race. Full size Chebby silverado with 5.3 pretty close but took him down and he was stock till 70. Hemi, titan, tunda will take the taco .but with the right set up its gotta be close and who gets the jump.
