Not installed yet. Gotta get to a welder soon to install everything. My build thread will be updated after the install.

I gave my ubolts a few extra ugga dugga's and then busted out the torque wrench and set it to 100ft/lbs.

That’s about right. You could always use the German scale: “güdentite”.

Debating on whether to get the cam tab kit or not. I can't weld so I'd have to pay someone to do it.

Hm. I like the greasable option. Those reviews scare the hell outta me though.

idk about the ones wheelers sells, but they look identical to the MOOG set. i know plenty of people have used them without issue but they have a tendency to round out those D holes while youre turning the bolts. personally, if you cant get the factory ones out and cleaned up, cut them out and replace them with another set of factory alignment bolts and make sure they are covered in antiseize. I have not found any replacement kit yet that comes anywhere close to the strength of the factory hardware. also some TC cam gussets are a great upgrade to knock out while you have everything apart.

Yeah, based on my 45 mins of research, it sounds like you have the right idea on both counts.

Thankfully the guys who helped install my lift can get it done in hurry.

@concentric_killa , Did you have TNA Performance weld in your cam tabs? I thought I saw you did it partial DIY.

Guy I usually go to is a mechanical engineer. SAS swapped his tacoma out of his garage himself. He has a lot of projects and personal things going on. I get it.

Got two other guys that are willing to help. One guy just moved and needs to settle first (Again, I understand) and another one who also SAS'd his truck in his garage himself. Something like this should be simple, quick and a easy money to them. :playball:

The key is to torque it to failure, then back it off a little bit. That's how you know its in there.

Full long travel with bypasses, the whole 9 yards. In the works of building a racing class tundra for SNORE/SCORE.
