    Someone installed the gfi in the correct fashion but not the other 1 in the same box....

    From what I understand the M24 kits were sold to vets? How did you get yours if you dont mind me asking? Also, could you post more pics?

    I had this one built 18 years ago, back before the kits were available at all. I know there are non-vets with them. You can reproduce the rifles from components as long as you know what all the TDP is for the original. I basically got all original parts for the build, typically from the manufacturer or collectors. I even have the iron sights with inserts.
    I"ll have to track down and upload more pics, but I should be able to get them up before too long.
