So the 3rd spring from left is the 717lb 3rd gen or is that the OME 885? kinda confusing. They don't list how tall the spring on 3rd gens are? Why would they put a 700lb short spring In there? is the 3rd gen heavier in stock config? Now I must read moarrrrr.....

I believe the middle coil is the 3rd gen coil. It looks a hair taller than the 2nd gen coil to the left of it. And I do think the 3rd gens are heavier all around. It makes sense because it is a little bigger of a vehicle.

The third gen is like 200lbs heavier, not sure how that is spread throughout the truck. Makes more sense if it’s using a shorting spring with higher rate.

so to clarify on the coil question, I got this from Wheelers:

so it looks like the 888s are the winner

so I think the final setup I've decided on is:
5160 remote res in the rear
    Deaver AAL
5100s and 888s up front w/ 1/4" drivers side "taco lean" corrector

    now for beer.

    A thing or two...
The original TSB spring was because people were complaining about a harsh ride when carrying weight in the bed. Toyota's fix was to add a 4th (overload) spring to the leaf pack. Later the TSB became a recall. I'm not sure if there's any difference between the TSB and recall springs. I had the TSB done on my truck years ago, and I had the recall done when I moved out here 2 years ago.

    I'd vote for Side Shooters.

^This. I run Rigid covers on my Cali Raised Side Shooters.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
FWIW, I think if you put the stock 3rd gen suspension on a 2nd Gen, I'm told you will get approx. 1.5" lift all around.
