Very first post purchase, purchase finally arrived.
Wet Okole seat covers and weatherTech mats went in the truck today.
I'll feel a lot better about getting out of the river and into the truck now.

Lock washers? I've had mine off a few times and I just have screws and clips on my 17.

You have the pro grille though?

The star washers that hold the garnish insert. Two push clips on the bottom and then on the top two star tab washers. I’m not sure what Toyota actually calls them. They were a pain though.

Not sure what garnish insert you speak of. I just ordered a pro grill to replace my OR grill. I take the cheese grater out of the beauty ring when I disassemble mine to repaint it. Are you talking about the toyota flower thing in the center ?

installed a gray softopper and installed led turn signals.

i found a great deal on CL. install was super easy since it was already assembled. i originally wanted black but im glad i have the gray topper, its a nice contrast to the mgm. im debating on removing the branding on the sides of the topper.

i had chrome bulbs installed, wanted to get rid of that egg yolk look. i knew the light output wasnt great, but jeez, the led bulbs make the chrome bulb look like its barely even lit. led on the passenger and the chrome bulb on the driver.

They rub because of the wheels backspace. I have the same size tires but was unable to install them with the stock wheels without spacers. I went with aftermarket wheels (ProComp) with a 4.50” backspace and zero offset.

Yes. It was an grille from the 17 that insert had to be removed so I could use the 18 garnish insert.

They fit but they are wider than the stock tires. If you look at the space between the inner sidewall and the UCA with the stock tire(s) there is barely a small gap. When you install a wider tire without spacers or a rim with a greater backspace and zero or negative offset you will experience rubbing against the UCA(s) especially when the suspension is traveling while in motion. Hope this provides some clarification. :D
