I installed mine yesterday as well. The triple black. Super impressed. Looks great. I didn't finish tightening everything yet. It's been in the 90's here and the leather is real warm and soft. Gonna wait a week or so and then tighten them up.

So.. many years ago, people were doing this, on other models. You'd be surprised at how much space there is, once you remove the original material. You COULD try it. But, I really wouldn't recommend it. Our covers are designed with the size of the original material under. If you already had your original cloth off though, say it was damaged? You could try it.. not like you'd have anything to lose. If it didn't work, you could re sell your kit here.. The 16+ tacoma, is the most popular kit on planet earth right now for covers ;)

I would not remove the factory stuff and just go with the Clazzio. You'd end up with a mess.

Yes! Also those with heated seats will have more challenges as well because the heating element is attached to the factory cloth seat cover and not the actual seat cushion.

Posted in the forum earlier asking about the pvc compared to the leather. I think I will go with the leather, but don’t see anywhere to enter the promo code during check out....

    Edit

Found 2 different sites. One is Clazzio.com, other is clazzioseatcovers.com.
The clazzio.com site recognized the discount code giving me 100.01 off the price.
I’m gonna wait until somebody confirms this before I order...

I have a 16 DC trds, black interior, dark grey exterior. Trying to decide between black/black/black and dark grey/dark grey/dark grey seat covers. I see Captainh00k’s photos of black/black/black on a 16 DC, anyone have photos of dark grey/dark grey/ dark grey leather covers installed?

That’s the dark grey? Looks much lighter than I thought it would. Sure doesn’t look like it matches the metallic grey paint?

Was hoping for All-Black with Red Stitching but an extra $100 for the customization is killer

Yes, the Clazzio Dark Grey is more of a medium gray. Here's another photo.IMG_0335.jpg My 2017 Tacoma SR has factory "Cement" colored seats, which is a very close color match to the Clazzio Dark Grey. It is also the same color as the gray vinyl trim piece on the doors. I am very pleased with the form, color and function of these seat covers.

Question! I ordered a set of in stock seat covers and added head rest embroidery last Monday, 6Aug18. Anyone have an idea on how long the embrodiery typically takes??

A week or two depending on how busy he is. Some times can be longer if really backed up.

Received my all black covers this morning, installed this afternoon. I’m really pleased! Only question I have.....
Should I remove the console lid screws and try to tuck the cover in for a cleaner look? I would have sworn I saw that somewhere, but now I can’t find it. Not sure if it is even possible.
    What do you guys think?

On my install, I ended up not using the Clazzio console cover. I think it looks great without it.

Need to ride for a week or so, then probably tighten them again...

    Excuse the iPhone photos....
