Dumb thing is it was actually a pretty easy fix. Just took them that long. Have to dump all the bad shit but then it should have been simple enough to move on. And wouldn't have even happened to begin with if you turned your brain on in the morning

Yeah with all the documentation one simple change in a number cost us a lot of money and pissed off a lot of people.

Even worse replacing a perfectly good $50k pump with a perfectly good $50k pump, or even more $$$. Just taking a guess.

Anytime @Spoonman post I can’t see his pictures, using an iPad. Rarely use TW on my phone. I’m sure I’m missing some bad a$$ pictures.

Got a call from the hazmat team. They needed backup out in the field. A trucker broke down on railroad tracks and a train hit his trailer. Everyone is fine train crew are stuck inside cause the truck was carrying acid. For some reason the person put a different name for it so I'm not sure the type. But it's strong enough to scourch the steel on the train. Hazmat team didn't know what it was and since I have training to handle it I was sent. Was straight forward sand and tons of it. Cat litter, sand, dirt you name it. Best part I got to tell cops what to do to guide traffic lol. 2 hours we had a path for the train crew to get out and check them out there good and safe. Thankfully it was a small crew and they hid in a closet fearing it was fuel. They just hit the brakes throttle down and went to hide. Saved them cause the control console was melted. I called the company trying to get answers on what this is. Thank goodness no one was hurt but everyone is getting a trip to the hospital for check ups on lungs which emt's didn't think about.

Edit: Hydrofluoric acid in a concentrate form. just got told that's what it is. Shit is scary it can melt glass. Gives you an idea of how strong it is. We literally have to rip the road off the ground to prevent a environment hazard. Whoever put down the other name is a complete moron.

With that powder coating, if you don't turn those on a regular basis, they have a tendency to seize up!

I actually made a tool to turn mine, back in the day. They were a pain when all mucked up with mud. Don't want to go back to that. Much prefer in and out from the comfort of the driver's seat!!

I dont miss having to get out and lock those stupid things. Especially in a snow storm with them all covered in ice. I have no clue why people would want them over ADD. It has been life changing getting my 04 in 4wd while in the comfort of my cab.
