I have a Tonno Pro soft tri-fold on my F-150 and it's decent for the price. It is not as nice as the Extang Trifecta I had on my Tacoma, but considering I paid less than $200 for it, I don't regret it.

Once, years and years ago, when I was still in grade school. We were camping at Lily Bay and took a day trip down to see it.

Why didn't you just do the no spring compressor method? It's so easy, especially with the relatively soft coils of the 6112's.

Third. I love my revolver x2. So much more secure than a standard soft cover, and it's extremely functional. A bit more pricey, but go expensive and cry once; go cheap and cry often

That was a suggestion. My concern was that I am at the 4th setting right now. Thought there would still be a lot of energy left before I could get them free.
I would like the try that method, only if I had another option very close by.

Not yet, but now will have to.

I thought the sky was amazing Friday night, great Saturday. I'm not learned in sky stuff, so I'm not able to identify much of what's up there. But the streaks across the sky with some of the shooting stars or what not where wicked amazing.

Ahh, important info, it's day trip from Lily Bay.

Need to stop talking about Maine. I have 2 vacation days left and so far 3 trips before the end of the year..

That math already doesn't add up.

I know, on the way home Sunday we are already discussing what and how we will get the camp site we want in two weeks. Problem is, school starts soon, deck still not finished and multiple things planned on that weekend.

With children it was, I suppose. If I remember right it was only about 60-90 minutes worth of actual driving time to get there, but it was 20+ years ago so my memory is probably not accurate. Plus time on-site to check things out and it was most of the day.

It's the Onawa Trestle/Onawa Bridge, and is Southeast of Greenville. Not a long trip, like I said, but getting there involves a fair amount of dirt road driving. Or at least it did back than; I doubt they've paved anything extra since then. :notsure:

Edit-I think that we stopped at some nature preserve/bird sanctuary while we were down that way too?

It will be well worth the effort my friend; we picked site #14, felt like there was about a half mile to the next site. It is a hike to get to the fresh water pump too, so bring a few containers for washing/cooking/drinking needs! maybe a few of us on here could get up there for hiking/wheelin trip before the snow flies?

We went to check out Tannery Falls on Tues., absolutely amazing place. I fucked up your directions and ended up driving through Savoy the back way(?) to get to the falls road... but your screenshot of the maps with arrows were spot on and we were able to orient using those  That road is pretty rutted out! but the lady had a great time and now wants to go on more wheelin adventures lol...

Dinner for that last night was The Ole Forge!! we got stuck in torrential rain ( lots of flash flood warnings going off) leaving Tannery and decided to duck in there rather than drive father out...had an awesome time; wings, burgers and a few BBC Steel Rails! Brought back memories  by the time we left, the rain had let off and we could hike back up without getting soaked :D Perfect timing..

By Wed., all the work calls/txts were starting to roll in, so we kinda felt too stressed to hang around as much as I wanted; magic had worn off  so no worries on not being able to connect, I didn't give ya much lead time anyway!! Tunnel City was really freakin good though; coffee, quiche, and pb cookies half dipped in chocolate :fistbump: and we were fueled for the drive home! It was like a dang Lululemon commercial (Williams College ) in there, had be careful where I was lookin :boink: :p

Your info and all the recommendations were invaluable to making it a short but sweet trip. Thanks again buddy, see ya soon
