Manuals are good for the young and stubborn. Or those who break shit all the time lol. If we break the ADD it's a new CV I believe. While a manual is a 5 minute swap and still can use your CV. Plus there way cheaper than a new cv

Damn straight lol I spent 8 hours out there and thankfully since I know a guy called him up and right when I left road crews where there to repar the road as much as they can. Until the railroad come out and replace some of the track. But least the road will be open for traffic just got to go slow a bit. To drive over the "bridge" which is just a piece of plate steel to be a temporary fix for the missing section of road.

Do not wheel without your skid plate...even the shitty stock one offers protection against something jumping up and denting or puncturing you oil pan. Without the skid there its just facing the ground waiting for that to happen.

Speaking of skid plates, my factory plates are on their last leg. Front isn't too bad but the rear sucks. 1 stripped out bolt on front and another on the rear half. Suggestions on a replacement? One piece would be awesome but I recall reading they are a pain in the ass to remove/install. You think I could get by without the rear stock plate given it supplies a little protection to that rear portion of the pan?

I missed all of that - what is the plan for the frame?

I'd take the LS swap with a LT build with full air lockers and a 5 speed and j shift transfer case. God that's a wet dream tacoma if you ask me
