    in his original post

maybe thats where the confusion is coming from..

"Lift-ish and tires, waiting on new rims. 265s rub bad on lca. And debadged- God I hate chrome lol"

^ I was talking about the below statement made by @rgljr831:

“When you install a wider tire without spacers or a rim with a greater backspace and zero or negative offset you will experience rubbing against the UCA(s) especially when the suspension is traveling while in motion. Hope this provides some clarification.“

    The above statement is correct.

Also, no idea how someone would rub a 265 (stock width tire) on either a UCA or LCA. Something else must be amuck.

Kept the overload out. I was afraid of the Bro Lean but the truck measures 38 inches ground to fender in the front and 38.5 in the rear. Sits good for me.

Installed this so when I install my diamondback tonneau cover I can easily access the bed.

I thought Toyota Care expires after 20k miles or 24 months? Did you extend your Toyota Care?

@glassremy has a valid point. @ZYBORG Thanks for validating my initial post. @Canadianguy91 Thanks for making me second guess my initial post. :cookiemonster: @glassremy I'm probably so used to everything here being about UCA's here that I just naturally assumed they were referring to the rubbing ocurring on the UCA's rather than the LCA's. @ZYBORG is completely on point with his last post "something else must be amuck. I'm gonna have to pay more attention to what I'm reading in the future before posting my input. Thanks to @glassremy, @ZYBORG and @Canadianguy91 for your input. Hope everyone has a great day!

    Happy Taco Tuesday everybody!

I attended Pro Eagle's Open House this past Saturday. It was cool to see the trophy trucks. People got some killer deals on those offroad jacks.

Joanna wasn't too keen on having the baby cam but she's still way too cute.

My dilemma right now is do I choose a -20 or a +1 offset with a 275 tire

No worries. I misread the original post and it sort of snowballed from there. All good!

    Alright, question...

A month or two ago I posted about hail damage to my truck. Theres nothing at all except for a few on the roof, and bed cover. My question is, do I just trash the bed cover and keep it off insurance, or file a claim with insurance, get a new bed cover and the few on the roof fixed for free? Copay is $500... Bed cover is about $1000 + cost to fix 5 or 6 dents. Probably wouldn't buy another one to be honest.

Would this discourage you from buying? How much of a hit will I take on resale if I do claim hail damage on the truck??

P.S. Stupid fucking hail, fuck this situation. Fuck. lol.

Fix it with insurance. That is IF you ever plan on selling it. Those dents are generally pulled out with paintless repair suction cups. Personally I would not want to buy one with dents showing. Would pay $500 more to buy one without dents. Keep receipts. If anyone questions carfax you will have the light damage repair proof. You will be happier too. Now if you go out trailing and pinstriping often do not bother fixing it. Would be a waste of money.

If I didn't tell you about them you would never see them.. It's just my OCD.

I've been leaning towards insurance as well but its a spotless title at the moment and I hate to dirty it because of "bad luck" and mother nature... :frusty::censored:

I'll try and get a few shots after work so you can get a better idea. Its really not difficult but you do ruin the stock emblem, but its chrome anyway so it won't be missed

Well if its mostly bed cover then I would not file it. For what you lose in deductible and the carfax it would be wise just to buy a used cover. If you had obvious dents in the roof then that would be different. I know when I buy something I search high and low for any body imperfections. Most people are not that ocd. You can always get a local quote for the paintless dent repairs. You might get it done cheaper than your deductible. I just paid cash to replace a windshield in my 20 year old car. Was only $165 out of pocket so not worth adding a claim. Also have a heavy foot college kid that helps me maintain high insurance premiums. Don't need any unnecessary claims.
