Finally finished the sink project. Turned out pretty good. Next time I'll look for smaller sink, maybe one of those RV ones, but this one was free. It was a fun project.

Haven't really done anything in a while and was restless for a mod. Had some old led pods sitting in the closet that I was planning to throw out (just cheap Amazon ones). Figured I'd put them to use instead. Can always use more lights, right? Bought some L brackets and mounted those to my bed rail, and then mounted the pods upside down on the bracket (they have to be able to fit under my bed cover). They're just mounted with butterfly screws so when my bed cover is rolled up, I can flip them right side up so that they can shine over my bed rails. Plan to use as floodlights when I go camping, fishing, etc. Excuse all the exposed wiring. It started to rain as I was finishing up. Still need to tuck those away  Also excuse all the crap in my bed.

Well. With ATR fast approaching I’m on #teamlittlesleep. First I’ve been wore wheeling off the slider rust. ALMOST ready for the first coat of por-15 rust prevent.

Also I finally got the 30k maintenance done except for the trans. I think I’ll do a full flush when I get back.

Next up this weekend is the electrical. Out with ALL the old and in with the new. Should take about 6-8 hours depending on my prep skills. Tomorrow I will start taking stuff out and taping the leads so they don’t get dirty as well as finishing up he dual battery wiring. Wednesday I hope to put the first coat of rust prevent on. Thursday I will finish prepping the wiring on these babies my dual Bussmann RTMR fuse blocks. And yes these will be run off the auxiliary battery.

    [IMG][IMG]

Saturday will be the install of all the new wires and of my new LUX led rock lights that should be uber bright.

Lastly I want to go around and check all my bolts and the like before I take my trip. That will be the weekend before along with front brakes if I get the chance

Also thanks to anyone who sent me stickers and decals for my cooler. It’s coming out awesome so far.

Did you have to rip apart the dash to get that USB/Voltmeter installed? was there a 12v outlet there before that you replaced it with?

I have one sitting on my table at home with hot/neutral wires for it but dont know if I can replace the 12v with the usb/voltmeter directly to the stock wiring or if I have to re run the wires that came with it.

A few mods here and there and counting....
I've done this as well and yes, you will need to remove a ton of stuff to access the lower panel. The hole needs to be to enlarge ever so slightly. I used male spade connectors and plugged it into the pre-existing harness for the oem 12v.
