ZipTies is my thought, or I may try and figure out a way to have it to where I can easily remove the flag without always having to cut zipties. Maybe some velcro strips?

My father smoked Lucky Strikes 2-3 packs a day. He and a co-worker of his made a bet $100 to the one who could go the longest without a cig. He stopped that day cold turkey never picked up another despite having two cartons in the freezer. I've never smoked but I understand the willpower involved to accomplish said task.

If it provides the motivation to help you I'll donate $100 to your truck build if you can quit smoking for 2 months straight.

Was thinking that these may work?

    http://www.niteize.com/product/Gear-Tie-6.asp

I have a couple long ones for around camp for hanging stuff from canopy or such, the smaller ones should work well I think. Not like I would be traveling down the highway with the flag on their.

Either that or some of the Velcro cable management strips would also work.

Your wife cares because she loves you. You love your wife, and you don't want to rob either yourself nor her of years of wonderful life together. Your kids too.

    All about the Big Plan.

    Yep.

I've known a few people who have used Chantix and it's worked for them.

The side effects can be quite powerful. In particular, Chantix can cause people to have suicidal thoughts. I don't know if those thoughts are spontaneous, or if they're the result of already existing feelings of depression being amplified. I don't know because I've never used it. However, several of the people I know who have used Chantix have said they felt moments and times of significant depression and dispair. The feelings weren't constant, nor were they consistent among everyone I knew who used Chantix, but it's something to keep in mind.

I'm assuming the side effects and their intensity are dependant upon how your body is affected by withdrawal and the effects of the medicine on your body and brain.

That said, I do not know of anyone who has used Chantix and returned to smoking.

    Wismec is okay.

    SMOK products are shit.

I generally agree with you here.

I've seen some publications regarding the health impact of PG and VG inhalation, and I've never been impressed by any on either side of the debate. @Lurkin has a pretty good explanation below.

    God damn, son.

The bolded statement is precisely why I don't put much stock in any health studies regarding vape, and will not until the manufacturer of PG and VG is cited along with a COA/CQA, the awful truth is that there is NOTHING regulating the quality of either the PG nor VG when it comes to vape juice manufacturing. Food production yes. Vape juice manufacturing no.

This is why I'm highly particular to where I buy my vape juice. I will not buy from certain local sellers because I have substantive reason to not trust the ingredients they use for their in-house juices.

Going back to my smokeless tobacco days, I used to order Scandinavian tobacco and snus because, among other things, the quality was much higher than American tobacco (regulatory laws regarding tobacco are much more stringent there than here as snus is considerably more popular with men AND women there) and the snus was IMO delicious. The flavors were very unique, so it took some acclimation but I don't remember not liking anything I ordered.

I was able to quit dipping a can or more a day. I went from vaping 32mg of nicotine at the onset down to now 6-3mg. Although I certainly miss the dip, it's not worth the health effects. As a bonus, my wife actually likes kissing me now.

I used to make my own juice. 3 ingredients. It was about 80/20 vg/pg. Just Vegetable Glycerin, natural flavorings and nicotine. I had this perfect fruit loops mix going.

    Cold turkey is a motherfucker.

Dad quit cold turkey, and it was an adventure. He never again picked up a cigarette though.

I broke two forklifts in as many hours when I tried quitting dipping cold turkey.

    Lesson learned.
