What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I've got my hop out pretty much perfected as well, and I agree I look like a total dork doing it lol

I'm 6 foot even, and if I'm not careful getting in, I'll knock the shit out of either my head or shin haha

Nice! Quick question..did you get any noticeable sag after you put your bumper on with the TRD Pro suspension? I'm about to install my Pelfreybilt one today & just curious.

 

Personally I did not, but mine is aluminum. Is yours steel? Actually I didn't lost any height that I noticed (maybe an 8th of an inch at most) but the ride was better.

$26 DIY rear diff breather. So much better than the brittle ARB tubing. Eventually I’ll T-in the rear locker breather to this tubing. All parts from Amazon. Took about $30 mins to install.

 

I have a 1/4 inch spacer waiting to go on, just don't feel like tearing it all apart right now. Might wait until I need tires and get new UCA's too. waiting on another Ebay 20% off sale. Let me know the sag with the weight, curious because I need a winch as well.

 

The first couple weeks with the sliders were a bit of a challenge. But, ive managed the hop as well.

 

It's funny cause yesterday I gave somebody crap for this. But today I did the seat spacer mod, on any long drive I went on my lower back started killing me... gave them a quick wrap in carbon to match everything else, they feel great! Much more lower back support. I used good quality bolts from the seller on the forum. Probably gon die but oh well. Least ill be comfortable. Also gives my amp a lot more airflow. Next up is Billy 5100s with ome 884 springs this Friday, then gunna do the ram phone mount with charging if I can figure out the add a circuit thing. After that back up camera. Then avid front bumper guard. Then probably a ton more.... ah Tacomas

Figures it took Toyota till 2018 to figure out that people actually wanted the offroad model in a DCLB as well.

 

Your truck isn't at risk, but the 2012+ trucks have some bullshit emmissions air pump. The OEM "filter" is literally a cheap chunk of open cell foam that cracks, gets sucked into the intake, and then steals your lunch money at the auto shop to fix because it messes with the valves in the air pump.

This replaces the foam and won't get ingested.

 

Got the new ProZ Premium Tonneau installed. Digging the hard cover over my old soft cover

 

It's for you differential. In case of deeper water crossings it keeps air from being sucked into the differential. Instead it is routed higher so that it cannot bring in water.

 

I may have done a thing.... gotta wait till im stateside to instal... the wait is already killing me!

 

I finally got the rear SS brake lines installed.

 

Just got mine installed. You will not regret it. After you pay your CC bill that is.
