Just got mine installed. You will not regret it. After you pay your CC bill that is.

Really blings out your wheel wells too! If you haven't ordered them already, get the stainless brake lines from wheeler's or where ever when you get you u-bolts, etc. Its probably the most immediately noticeable part of my new setup.

Of course after they go in, you start looking at matching LCAs and then the spindles look kinda flimsy in comparison...and then you pop into the LT thread for a minute, and a new monster starts to dwell in the back of your head.

I cheated a little. I remember I broke the old 12 volt plug because I didn't want to take that part of the dash out. I ran a constant 12 volt from my blue seas fuse box. You could use the wiring that's already there if you wanted a switched receptacle.

Well looks like my planned mods to my truck will be put off for awhile except for the TRD battery hold down and fuse box cover. Just go back form clothes shopping for the 3 teenage grand kids now living with us. They literally had nothing so almost complete new wardrobes for all 3. Need to do some painting and flooring and some other things in the house to accommodate the kids. They are old enough to help so we will have fun a different way and they will learns some different skills for later in life. There may be a project Taco for the 17 year old early next year but nothing for mine for now.

Good luck. I have 3 preteens and it is a challenge! Pay close attention to their electronics, social media. It is a different world out there!

Just got back with the 10grade twins picking up the class schedules and finding the class rooms buying their student body card and gym clothes. Saw their Freshman cousin wandering around lost. Tomorrow the Senior does the same thing. There will be a cultural adjutant coming from basically a white south western Idaho to a very diveres high school here in Sacramento/Elk Grove but they will do fine. The kid at school were very friendly and helpful to them. They are excited and I have set the rules about bed time and use of devices. These kids have been through hell and need to have structure and discipline. I will be talking to the counselors and principal explaing the situation so they be give them guidance and help. At almost 76 I never thought we would be in this situation but we are, love the challange.
