If anyone has a Waterport the @RelentlessFab quick fist mounts make a really solid mounting point for the Waterport mounting bracket and it drops it down a couple inches. Just had to drill the two holes out to 5/16”.

The Waterport mount itself is beefy but if you attach it straight to the bed rail it has quite a bit of flex when full because the bottom isn’t supported.

I actually made a specific bed rail bracket recently for the waterport thats a bit wider than the quickfist mount that uses the largest 4 bolt pattern of the waterport bracket for mounting. Rock solid. If anyone else is looking for a set :)
Looks like your DIY repurpose of the quickfist bracket is doing the job well- nice job making it work out, I didnt care for the included waterport setup either

Do you have any pics? I might be interested. Waterport’s drop bracket they sell is kind of a joke for $50.

Anyone have experience with Carson City Toyota? Looking at buying a new Tundra from them. I know it is not in Reno, but ...

That’s where I bought my truck and they were easy to work with. Dolan wouldn’t budge on anything and lowballed my trade in. Carson City was willing to deal and they gave me a really fair trade in.

Well fuck. Got into my truck and the mirror was hanging.

Recommendations on a glass shop in Reno?

I’ve always used Fast Glass on Greg. I was just there last week to get a chip filled.

How does the mirror break the glass like that? I’ve seen where it comes unglued but not where the glass breaks off like that.

Well I left Street to Sand at 8:30 last night with a semi functional supercharger.
It seems my controller didn't come pre-programed and/or there is something wrong with it and/or the new fuel pump that came with it.
My mechanic can't get it to deliver enough gas & called Gadget@URD this morning for some help.
I drop it off Friday & hope whatever the problem is it's near the top of the long list of shit Gadget gave him to try/check.
    :annoyed:

    Ugh, that's maddening. Good luck!

I at least got confirmation from Driveline and Gear Service that my rear wheel bearings were toast, they'll have the new ones in tomorrow. In the meantime it's drywall and paint for me...FML.

    Killer deal at $147
The griddle alone sells for $120
    Hood is $60
    Stand is $100
    Hose adapter $20
$300 worth of goods for less than 1/2 price sounds like a deal.
I paid $180 for the griddle & hood because they were out of stock & I didn't think such a great deal would come back.
It did, better jump fast or they will be gone again.

Well I started with a grill, then added a pizza oven, then I saw a guy with a 17" Blackstone camping. So now I have a portable grill, pizza oven & 22" griddle.
I'm making a 5' pull out for my Taco bed to hold fridge/freezer, grill, pizza oven, 22" griddle, 9' pontoon boat frame & a lot of other shit.
Lucky I have a trailer & lots of room.
