First gen, SAS, 37’s, duals... ECGS installed with 5.29’s as a favor circa 2009. Driven for quite a few miles, no signs before it came apart on the highway. Chase had nothing nice to say about them when I called...

No real updates. Did some highway driving (1.5 hours each way) and couldn’t really tell it was there. Only time I could was when merging with a short on ramp, and I was almost hitting redline while rowing through the gears to get up to speed. Truck was a hair squirrely but very manageable.

I have a wheeling trip planned on the 25th to rausch creek off-road Park. There’s one super flexy hill that is textbook locker territory. I plan on getting a video going up it of the locker in action.

Well done on the install OP! This is definitely a great cost saving alternative and more streetable than welding the spider gears together. I've installed one of these in a buddy's first gen 2wd mini truck and he loves it!
The ratcheting wears out the teeth over time, I wonder how long one of these lunch box lockers can last.

You'll have to use a lot of skinny pedal at Rausch and AOAA
