EVO is a very cool Android phone. It is similar to the HTC Incredible - but on Sprint Due to the stronger Verizon network, I think the Incredible has it beat. Wish they'd quite being gay about it and put phones out on all networks.

Moto Droid + Verizon is still better imo. Sprint's network sucks bad, and I like a physical keyboard. Evo is still a nice piece of kit for HTC though.

EVO 4G is the best phone HTC has released to date, and arguably the best smartphone on the market. Sprint's network is underestimated. While ATT does barely anything to improve their weakening network, thanks to the iPhone's insane demand on its network, Sprint put its money toward its network infrastructure. The addition of the 4G networks, which will show up in most of the major cities in the US, by the end of this year, shows they are serious about bringing their network back up to high standards. I wouldn't underestimate Sprint.

    Verizon ftw though

While I agree they blow AT&T out of the water... problem is I know some people on Sprint, rather would know them if they ever had a signal I should say.

whether its better or not is up for debate, but i'm just glad apple finally has some serious competition. maybe they'll stop being such dicks about their proprietary shit and start trying to compete with androids open deviation

anyone know if there is any "upgrade credit" towards the EVO for existing Sprint customers? why can't they just give me a dman instant rebate...12 weeks is a long time to wait for a check.

looking real hard at upgrading. was going to go with Verizon Incredible...but as my luck would have it, there's a nice 1 mile square dead spot where my house is. sometimes living rural sucks. no traffic though! :D

i refuse to assimilate to Apple...steve jobs can suck it!

I played with a EVO while having my Hero updated to Android 2.0. The EVO was very slick, but I actually thought it was a little too big. Does it seem a little large to the OP (does it fit comfortably in your pocket)?

$75 after 1 year, $150 after two years plus any other specials they tack on. If you're a premier customer, you get the full upgrade every year.
