Pretty sure an order for 14" custom king triple bypasses from DSM is going in the next couple of weeks.

Archive Garage Shock relocation, and I'll be staying spring over for the time being. By the time I move to a new spring in the back, hopefully the front will have caught up. Planning a 2+ kit there. But I figure I only want to buy shocks for the rear once rather than buying smoothies now and having to shell out for bypasses later.

Yeah what surprised me is both ADS and king manage to be cheaper than Fox, which I priced out to be around $949 a shock, that is belligerent. DSM seems to have a good price on Kings, at $759 for piggybacks and apparently they do a TW discount but don't quote me on that. I've looked at 2-tube bypasses to take it down a bit, and you could run a hydro bump to tune for that extra zone of compression however triples + standard bumps ends up being cheaper than 2-tube + hydro bumps anyways.

Well definitely in your case a 2.5 RR will help. Having a bigger piston will damp the weight much better. From my understanding a bypass is for having the ability to tune the compression and rebound across the range of travel so it opens up a lot of possibilities for ride characteristics. Having more tubes allows you to tune for different zones in the shocks travel to my knowledge.
    Ugh, later... Patience.

I get you. A re-valve might go a long way in your case if you just plan on staying with smoothies. I've never taken apart shocks though so I'm technically a newb.

Want a price on a full set of ADS? 2.5 with resi’s front and rear? You want adjusters?

can you quote me rears with resi's and adjuster, 14"? gonna need some shocks in the rear with more travel pretty soon and been debating between staying with icon or going ADS.

Seriously?? Damn that sucks...always liked stopping there for a beer and lunch after Rowher/Drinkwater. Was it a wilderness fire that took it out or did the kitchen go up or something? Didn't hear about any big fires out that way
