Wanting to make the "60" percent side of the rear seat a platform. Has anyone done this yet? I thought I remembered someone doing this but now I can't find the build thread. Wanting to put a fridge on the back seat and an inverter for the coming battery that will be mounted in the bed of the truck. Need a way to secure the fridge without a topper.

Remove just the seat bottom, and leave the seat back in place. I actually drilled out the pins in the factory seats and replaced them with removable pins so I can remove the seat bottom now without tools. Then all you have to do is make a platform to fill the gap that attaches to the same hinges/bolt holes on the floor.

Do you have a slide or anything attached to the platform? If I thought It would everything in place in the event of a wreck or roll over I would go that route.

I'd hate imagine the amount of squeaks and rattles such a set up would bring to the table for an off road vehicle.

Carpet all the way around. Won’t be bad.
