Flat-Tow bar is what I would assume, but don't you need the anchor points bolted or welded to the truck? Since it is an auction car I would assume it didn't already have one installed.

Probably bolted on the frame, they do this like 2-3 times a week. The tow vehicles are bought at auction as well... It’s all super shady shops they take these vehicles to.

We were talking about forum design over on the BS thread, and the topic of user interface and experience came up. Most of the other mainstay Toyota forums like T4R.org and Yotatech.com retained the BB software design (which can be seen in the 2nd link of my previous reply) that was discontinued years ago.

@tcBob was smart and switched the forum code over to the Xenforo forum software about five years ago, which is used to this day. Huge reason why I like this forum so much is because it's so easy to navigate, and a stark difference from the drab and confusing layout of the old BB forum software so many other forums use.

The BB software made a lot more sense in the context of Web 1.0 and long overstayed its welcome

It was excellent for its time, but it's no longer 2005 and it looks far too outdated by today's standards.

I know. I was here when it switched haha

The BB site wasn't that bad. I actually liked it but had been using it for years by then. This new version is great though. Very nice features.

Same, and really I don't miss it. Tagging is awesome, alerts are nice, layout is much easier to follow, mobile site works correctly

No I haven't. Only 8 years. This place has been around almost twice that.

No doubt. Plus adding things is easy for Bob. Have made several requests over the last year and he has been able to implement them easily.

Mobile site is awesome for sure.

I don't really miss it either. But never had an issue with BB personally.

I will say Bob and crew have utilized this software way better than other sites that switched I think as well.

Out of all the members I see on this 1st Gen sub-forum at least, you're one of the most active early members of the site. I know it's been around since 2006-ish but I never see anyone that's stuck around that long.

Maybe. Theres a few of us left though that are active just not always in here. Plenty of "old timers" around still. Just hiding in their fav threads.

I think he said he was something like the first 100 people to join? I remember discussing it a while ago. I want to say #64?
