Love these AJT fobs

Just ordered in inferno.. damn why do i come to TW... I must hate my money.

 

Don’t go to the suspension or tire forums. You’ll really be screwed then

 

Too late - I have new tires that I don’t need sitting in my garage as we speak.

 

New tires and wheels getting mounted on Saturday truck wont even have 100 miles on it yet. Researching tires is how I found this place lol

 

only thing I wish AJT had done was have the attach point on the case instead of the emergency key. its easier to replace the blade key than the $400 fob.

the oem fob has a cutout on the fob case to attach a ring to beside the blade key loop.

 

Bet you could attach an eye of some sort under one of the screws to get another attach point.

 

I tried not to buy... and I couldn’t take it any longer and broke down this morning and ordered one. I’m stoked!

 

New tires go on tomorrow lol, Also looking at the tacomaworld basic special TRD pro grill and lower behind the bumper light bar(which I actually need for my pre sunrise drives to trailheads)

I wonder if the AJT can be removed if requested before purchasing?I will like it better without it.

 

I like the design of this FOB, but what I really would like is something with this appearance that had a flip key (for the MT). I don't like the key being out when it is in my pocket and while this looks nicer than the factory one, it doesn't help with the only real problem I have with the factory one....

 

I would like it without his logo too, but i doubt it. these are injection molded. he would probably not want to change the molds.

i mistakenly ordered the one for the 2016-2018 Rav........then 2 min later ordered the Tacoma one.....both were shipped within 5 min.....received them two days later and was politely informed that I could send the wrong one back for credit ....great customer service.....

 

I wanted army green but due the ajt logo I opted for the black w/ red hardware.

 

I’m in the same boat, but emailed Adam and he recommended that I order from TacomaBeast, they still have the cement TRD version in stock. Super helpful. I got my order placed already, check it out.

Picked up my stock '16 DCSB OR on Aug 2.

Joined TW Aug 2.

AJT Fob arrived Aug 15 (pretty sweet).

Suspension and rock sliders scheduled for Sep. 24th.
You'd be wise to heed @biohazdan. It is a slippery slope, and I haven't been here a month yet.

 

Came in today. Super quick turnaround beat the initial usps estimate of tomorrow. Also picked up a trd pro grill on my way home from work. Wheels and tires go on tomorrow light bar should be here next week. Truck is a week old today and hasn't even cracked 70 miles yet lolol

 

I'm in the same boat. LOL. I got my truck the last weekend before August and I've already added a grill, the new FOB, HID and LED lights, running boards, SEMA wheels, console organiser, Radio Knobs. Waiting for the interior dome and map lights to come in next week.
