The bank reclaimed the business, but the business still had enough equity and was running at a level that it was less of a risk for the bank to let business run until a buyer could be found and the bank would assume the profits. The issue I guess was the last expansion. They need to sell that location and go back to just beer and the company will do just fine.

Screen's not broken and the phone still works; I don't understand what's the big deal? I drop mine about twice a day (as a disclaimer, I also buy the cheapest phones I can, slap them in an Otterbox & put a screen protector on them, because I'm hard on them).

 

@Bruce988jl I'm still in the planning phase. I've been keeping an eye on the work archive garage has been doing. If they can get their hangers squared away I might support them by buying in.

Or I might just pick up a totaled 2nd gen and rebuild it, and completely rip out the back end and go full custom. Need to see what the workload is going g to be like this up coming year.

It's more the fact that she dropped it and didn't bother telling me she did it, because I just bought the phone as a replacement to my old shitty one, and this thing was practically brand new. And wasn't cheap.

There is something that we need, and she said she didn't want to do it by herself, but she might have to for now, so going to try and get her to "start the process".

 

Just told them they squeak a little bitbut thing I was concerned most about was how Rusty they were compared to my frame when frankly I coat everything. So they asked for pics and sent me new ones.

I'll spill the beans I guess. Was trying not to, but I don't care. Let the begin.

Everyone knows the car trouble we've had with her car. We've been looking a lot at the newer Explorers. The local Toyota dealership has a 17 limited with 24k miles, fully loaded, on the lot. She wants to go look at it, see the inside, drive it and get a feel for it before we go "talk" to them. They also have another car on the lot that she wants to see, a newer Pathfinder. We don't really have time to go look and drive because we always have stuff going on during the weekends, and she can't go drive it during the day because she has the kids M-W. BUT, T and F they go to daycare... she said she doesn't want to go there by herself, but she'll HAVE TO because I can't take time off of work right now. So going to try and get her to go there tomorrow when she doesn't have the kids, just to go see, drive, and get a feel. She can simply walk away when they try to negotiate with her, and tell them she'll be back with me. OR, she can try and get a deal since she kind of already has a number in mind that she wants to pay. If they don't want to hit it, then all she has to do is simply walk away and leave. Not sure what her fear is of going by herself. She's the one that will be driving the car daily, so she's the one that needs to get a feel for it and see if she likes it or not.

 

So one annoying thing about sleeping on a platform in the bed of the truck is that the truck has to be at least sort of level if you're going to be at all comfortable. When BSP provides you with an unlevel campsite, you need to get creative.

 

All I can say is Nissan does not have a good reputation for CVT transmissions. I have a Nissan Rogue now and although we have had zero issues, the vehicle is a lease and we will not be buying it at the end.

 

Personally I don't really like Nissan, but she kinda likes the newer Pathfinder because from the pics, it looks like it has decent trunk space with the 3rd row up. So does the Explorer, going by the pics. Luckily they have them on the lot, so she wants to, NEEDS TO, go check them out and see for herself.

 

Was just poking fun, not trying to make you give up your deepest darkest secrets, sorry bud! I think the new explorers are nice, no idea as to what the build quality/reliability of them is. I get her not wanting to go, I have gone with a few friends car shopping just because it is overwhelming for people not used to it/have zero idea about cars in general. Goodluck to you guys, I hope you find something that works for you without getting screwed over. (don't forget about the minivans )
