I'm turning 26 next month. I keep wanting to wait a while but all my wife's friends are getting pregnant and she always complains about her "clock is ticking" or whatever. Ugh. I just want to build my truck in to a crawler...

Lol, assuming she's roughly your age, doesn't she have at least 10 more years?

She's about a year and half younger. Wants to have kids before she's 30. I keep saying we got plenty of time, but that's too easy of an answer. Lol.

That sucks! I'm turning 27 next month and my wife will be turning 25. Kids are currently nowhere on either of our radars.

We gotta figure out a time for our wives to hang out... Mary might be able to talk her out of it lol- she's done a lot of research about the damage pregnancy can do

Edit: Obviously I'm doing something crazy with these quotes...

Oh good lord, I wasn't even thinking serious relationship or wife or anything when I was 26. I had 2 lengthy relationships before I turned 26 and when the last one ended with me at 24 buying a ring and 2 weeks later us ending things for good after almost 4 years my thought process changed drastically! I technically dated my wife on and off for 8 years (no she wasn't the one I bought the ring for, haha) so when we finally got back together the last time I was older and more tired and just basically said I was done with the bar/club scene and finally settled down with her for good when I was 29. Got married at 30 and first kid was at 32. You have plenty of time to do all of the kid crap. As for @coke can said assuming your wife is your age she has time too. My wife is just now about to turn 27 so theres an age gap here but our clocks tick longer in her terms, haha

Yeah, no. There's an 8 year gap for us, so we're currently debating for the permanent decision.

My wife sees that damage daily. She delivers babies at the hospital. Lol. For me, that would be a turn off from wanting kids if I had to deal with them all the time, but for her, its not. We've also been debating having kids earlier than later due to her father's health. We'd both like to see him have at least one grandkid before something happens. Idk. Life is complicated.

Thanks. But realistically, I got plans for the next few years. Kids don't fit yet. So it'll wait.

You guys are dead wrong. You have no idea.

My son is the best thing that ever happened in my life. He is so much better than any truck or mod or whatever.

Eh, to each their own. I'd rather regret not having one, than regret having one.
I don't think I could handle the stress of constantly trying to keep it from killing itself, or just randomly die with no explanation (SIDS)..

She-shed as of last night, it was too dark for pictures when we hung the last gambrel. OSB on the roof this afternoon and maybe some siding.

Its actually easier than you think, especially nowadays with all the cool (and extremely expensive) technology.

Also, I know I'm only 2 months in but it is already the best thing that has happened to me and the most amazing experience. I hope to one day have a son of my own so I can teach him the stupid shit a little boy is suppose to know and do but my little girl is just dam awesome!

Someday someone will touch your willy:fingerscrossed:
