The receivers will hopefully carry us a lot more this year. The RB stable should still be great, but they’re unproven. The addition of Robertson on the outside should help take the top off the defenses and open up the running game for the young guys.

Missing Dom sanders and Roquan on the defensive side is gonna hurt.

I tend to agree with you and believe that won't be the case either. However, IMO, the committee absolutely got it right last year.. AL, even though they didn't win the SEC, was one of the best 4 teams in the country. Tough draw for Clemson getting them last year in the first round tho..

That return was huge... and clutch. Hated it, but great play. Great return. Great game all around even though Clemson came out on the short end. I look forward to quadrilogy between CU and Bama.

If they do put two from the same conference, they’ll make them match up in the semis. They couldn’t really do that last year because they couldn’t justify jumping UGA or Bama into the 1 or 2 spots

I think the Dawgs will be tough to beat but they have to be careful and not beat themselves. They have lots of talent stepping in to replace those that left. I think the secondary is still suspect but who doesn't have a kink somewhere? Hopefully another great season ahead I can't wait for it to start and fly my flag on Saturdays.
    GO DAWGS!!!!!

ps I'm still not over that championship game

One of my top 5 all-time Dawgs...he obviously went to the Bill Goldberg school of tackling.

...for those who don't know, Goldberg is also a Dawg!

It’s been a rough ten years no doubt but i think futures bright with Pruitt . If botch jones can win the games he did it’s scary what an actual coach will be able to do at Tn . Ga might tie the series this year but ya gotta win 2 more natties before ya on Tn level

Sorry but UT ain’t what they used to be. Gonna take more than a coach to turn that team back around. Gonna need recruiting. You can talk overall record or whatever but you’re right, UGA isn’t near that low of a level as UT.

Btw, nice Georgia Red truck you have there.

Wait, when was the last time UT played for ANY kind of championship? When was the last time you guys even made the trip to Atlanta? It’s been like 13 years...did you guys get lost? Need some directions on how to get there from Knoxville?

I thought that after the 2012 BCS NC game. Never say never. If two of the best 4 teams are from any conference, even the SEC, I think they'll be in there again. The committee had every bit of cover it needed to put tOSU in over Bama last year and they didn't.

    Welcome to the thread.

It's been 4,317 days since Tennessee beat Alabama. Literally the last 1/3rd of my life.

    Pruitt should be fun, though.

Somebody needs to charge his phone.

Tennessee is in the "we're great because we were once great" phase of the CFB cycle. Alabama was there for a long time. Maybe they'll start inching their way back now? Who knows. It'd be nice to have some of the traditional powers be a little better again.

Changes coming to Bryant-Denny Stadium soon... About to have the biggest scoreboard in the SEC, if you care about that sort of thing. The BDS tour starts at 2:50 in this video..

They outside is going to look like Jerry World.

The whole thing is meh to me, but they're not using any of my money to pay for it, so I suppose I don't really care that much.

I’ve never seen Tn beat Alabama in my life time . It’s been rough these last years but to say Tn will never be relevant again is a little naive. And yea man really like Pruitt and the staff he’s assembled. Ut administration and boosters has been our biggest down fall . Praying having fulmer back will start to right the course . Any way trash talk is all in good fun trust me I know where my team stands so don’t take it to heart. Good luck this year and go vols
