I like the way you are thinking. The cover was on the cheaper side as far as covers go, so I wouldn't be opposed to creating some slots in the cover rails to fit the brackets. Thank you for the help!

I'm planning on ordering the tall short bed rack for my DCSB, but I'm undecided between the aluminum vs steel option. I'm leaning towards the aluminum for the weight savings.

If you don't mind doing some notching on the cover, you're all set.

The aluminum rack is pure sex.

Definitely looks like it. I have the Undercover Flex as well and really like your bracket solution without removing the tonneau... but I'm having hard time envisioning how the brackets would work with the tonneau mount rails covering the stock rails. Anyone have any luck/tips/mods/suggestions to make these work?

Max Taco Rack Day! Size is the tall and long version. Straight forward assembly, however I did not see the “don’t over tighten the hardware” and snapped a couple of bolts. The supervisor wasn’t too thrilled working in the heat.

    Sturdy rack! Love it!

    Hey TWers

Has anyone put the long rack with tonneau brackets on a short bed with a Diamondback cover? I have a DCSB with Diamondback cover but I’m trying to check if the long rack brackets will interfere with the Diamondback locking rods.

Anyone have this set up? Long rack short bed and Diamondback cover?
