What keeps the right most hinge from buckling when laid out, the cooler? Or is it just extra ridgid once compressed against the passenger side of the bed?

I'll update with the first post with these photos as well... but this is how it works. You can also see how beat up the system has got over the past year and a half.

We've probably slept in it over 50 nights now... even did a 3 week PNW bike trip sleeping in the back and using the shower almost every day.

Nice. Looks like a great setup. My only concern would be claustrophobia and heat.

Claustrophobia could be legit... it doesn't bother us too much because we're only in there to sleep and there's plenty of room to be on your side and move around. But windoors fully open creates an amazing cross breeze and feels like your hanging in the shade outside.

Nice. I've been back and forth on a cap ever since I bought the truck. It will be after i buy a house, since I need all the bed space to move. I'm also considering the cargo trailer conversion idea. But would be nice to have it all self contained in the truck.

In the event anyone is local to Denver, I'm looking to sell for parts/more or less give this set up away. It's in useable but less pretty shape now. It would be great to get the value of the drawer slides out of it. They were around $400, so open to offers. Just don't want to disassemble for parts if someone else would enjoy it. Holler if you're interested. I'll also do a separate thread in the Buy/Sell/Trade section.
