Personally I have not. But there are many here that have. I have read that many recommend 650 lb springs on the 3rd gens to get desired lift but no personal experience.

Yea talked to a few guys and sounds like the 650# 14" is the way to go. now I need a tutorial on how to change out the Fox 2.5 IFP spring, any references out there?

So far I like the 14" 650 much better, less preload to get the lift and much better at the dunes.
A little firmer but not bad with a stock frond end, just a 30" china light bar but no sway bar....

If you want a soft ride and 2" lift stick to the 600, for 2 1/2 + lift and fast driving / extra weight get the 650....
For slow crawling over rocks the 650 may be a little stiff, I haven been back out west yet with the 650 spring....
If you have any armor I would go right to the 650.....

I have sliders and an aluminum front bumper that adds 40 to 50 lbs up front and I'm wanting 2 1/2" lift up front after sag. Can I get that with the stock 600# springs or can I get a 600# 14" spring or go with the 650# springs..?
Don't want too firm or too soft... lol.

Good info brotha. Definitely do more slow trail stuff with the wife. Will effeminately will consider that information before getting the spring. :) I am though changing out the UCA to help the alignment a bit more. Looking at the Total Chaos UCA as it has been around a long time and seems to be proven. was also considering a spacer to help with height if i dont go with spring.

So it appears that Eibach makes a 2.5 x 14" 600 lb. that fits....

    13 or 14"..?
    And why 700..??
The added weight didn't compress my stock OR suspension at all so thinking 700 would be too stiff...
Can you explain a little more as I'm interested.

I'm running 14" 700# springs with no weight up front currently and the ride is beautiful... not stiff at all. They also allow me to have very little preload to get my truck level with the rear (Deaver u402s)

He will totally regret 700# springs with the minimal amount of weight up front.

I’m also curious to hear you elaborate?

Edit: you guys are 3rd gens so you have more weight up front from the start.

I also went 700 but it was more in terms of long term thinking.
I'll will be adding armor, a SSO slimeline bumper, winch, & dual battery. With all that, I was recommended to go directly to 14" 700s

If you do the jump from stock to this setup vs a setup with 600 lbs to 700 lbs springs, you won't necessarily think its too stiff.
It definitely is more stiff than stock but I prefer it. There would be times I'd brake with the stock suspension and I felt i was in a nose dive.

I got 2.75" of front lift and have about 6 threads showing. Once I add that weight, I can crank a little more and get back up to the lift I want.

I'm not going to put a winch or anything else up front so I won't need the extra weight capacity.
So maybe the 14" 650# spring would be in the middle of that range...
Just want to get it right or close to it the first time...
Are you C/O's out the box on stock valving or have they been tuned..?
Can't afford the tune yet so will be running out of the box.
If can get 2 1/2" after sag without being too soft or stiff then use the DSC's to fine tune I think that migh be the sweet spot ...

Everyone's preferences are different, but for most people a 700 lb/in spring is too much, it'll cause too much lift and you'll feel every little bump in the road. If the standard 13" x 600 lb/in is barely not enough height then I'd go to a 14 x 600. Middle of the road builds (no RTT or rack, light bumper) usually get 14 x 650's. Full overland builds with all the accessories are the only ones requiring a 700 lb/in spring. The 650 and 700 lb/in springs have long block heights so you can't add much preload. And remember preload is your friend. :)

1400.300.600s, 650, and 700 are kept in stock:

Thanks.... was going to call you but didn't want to burn you out with all my questions.... lol
So step up to a 14" 600 or 650 and call it good...?
