    No surprise there.

The head honcho of TW, @tcBob drives a 2016+ third generation Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, so he read the manual.

Lots of 3rd gen owners do, I am sure.

I would expect nothing less from the big man, since he must be a pretty intelligent person to keep this circus running.

OK...I'll play. I'll be 76 next month. My wife is 75. We both have Tacomas. Her's is a 2015 TRD Off Road. Mine is a 2018 TRD Sport. She has been driving Tacomas since 1992. She is on her fifth Tacoma. Every once in a while she let me drive them. My 2018 is my first Tacoma after driving three Ram Hemi's. Yes, I do miss the Hemi from time to time, but I really wanted a smaller truck. The Tacoma is great truck except for the POS transmission. Hope to get that corrected with the most recent TSB update.

What engine in that Model A? Have you upgraded to a 12v system or are you still running on 6?

Not too surprising to see some older gents here, as the price point of these Tacoma's aren't exactly considered to be cheap. The only 20-somethings I know that drive a 3rd Gen are still living with their parents.

    <-- Into my 40's.

Stock 4cyl. 40 hp. Lots of low end torque. 6 volt alternator but all lights are LED so minimum current draw. 3.54 rear end. Cruises well at 45 and tops out about 55.

Sweeeeeet. Headlights included? I didn't realize that they made an LED conversion for the old Model A headlights.

Maybe it's just the meets that are for the younger crowd. I have no desire to ever go to one.

At 70 my Tacoma helps me feel young every time I leave home.
But, my Tacoma will never take the place of sex. :bananadance:(That's understood....Right!)

BA15D is 6.0. Volt positive ground. They have negative ground and 12 volt in both configurations.
They plug right into to the original socket.
