    Some ECU's have a checksum that counts number of flashes, I don't believe Subaru does. I had a recall done on my 2011 WRX that required a flash and no one said anything.

    COBB's Off-the-Shelf tunes are usually really conservative and hard to fuck up, unless you don't do a cursory inspection for issues. If he didn't do at least one logged pull and read the wastegate duty cycle (target vs actual boost) and Dynamic Advance Multiplier (TL;DR knock sensor), well...

    Usually if you've actually blown it it's more... exciting and obvious than a limp mode triggering. It would belch oily smoke or make all sorts of unhappy paint shaker noises.

    Thanks man, but from hiking I have like 5 different water bladder systems and packs lol. But yah not a huge fan of the color but for $90 off I’ll take them, as they are awesome shoes.
