Pelfreybilt is in El Cajon which is in San Diego Ca 150 miles away
I'm very close to this shop and where I purchased my tires / wheels from here ...

    http://www.socalsupertrucks.com

Also 4wheel parts is not far away either as they're in Riverside Ca

Socal Super Trucks is 36 miles and 4wheel parts is 50 miles

Shop and find a bumper you like. Figure out what your needs and wants are then look at all the different offerings and pick the one that suits you best. Don't just look at who is closest you may find one over here on the east coast you like better and you'll just have to pay the shipping like most of us do. For how you use your truck I'd think an aluminum bumper with no winch cut out, no hoops, and no light bar mounting would be perfect. Maybe even get it painted to match your truck that would look sharp.

I'll more than likely go to Socal Super Trucks and order /buy and have install a Pelfreybilt or other mfg bumper

Just realized Pelfreybilt doesn't offer a bumper for a First Gen !!

Not on this truck. Wouldn't mind an aluminum streamline on the 15, but it wouldn't have helped much in this situation. I'm worried about liability that may be incurred with a full plate bumper.

So far, bumper, grill, lower insert, headlight, fog lights, fenders bent on the front, ds fender pushed back and scratched.

SOS does but shipping would be pricey. May could get a tw Express lol.

^^^ this!!!! :annoyed: Been waiting since last Thursday for a follow up appointment.... doc was supposed to be out Friday, and then 2 days this week... but she was going to get a hold of him.... Called THREE times today.... couldn't remember who I spoke with, so got someone else.... "I have to check with the doc to fit you in" "I'll call you back within the hour" Called an hour later when no call came in... "sorry, but I saw the doc, but was on the phone with another patient". "Give me a bit and I'll call you back...." 5 hours later still no call!!! Called AGAIN and got "no one called you back"? Do you really think I'd be calling if someone had called me back????? "I'm so sorry, but we have been slammed today" Guess what - I really don't care how "slammed" you are, give me my appointment  Then she mentions Friday.... then comes back.... you have an ekg scheduled for tomorrow @ 9:30 and then Monday @ 10 to see the doc..... Definitely NOT happy with the office this time....

Hope you got a nap in Rob

    afternoon all

That sucks about the run around you're getting with the Doctors office staff especially the front desk . I would definitely let your Doctor know tomorrow when you see him

You are omitting the engineered crumple zones in the front of the vehicle. If someone in another vehicle got seriously injured or killed, I could see a lawsuit from it, even if they were at fault.

Yeah, glad it wasn't a moose!!!

I gave up on the Wednesday Car Show as it was suffering from lack of participation . Last time I went there was over a month ago and people were complaining about the wind or the heat . Last time I checked this is typical Summer time Desert weather !!

Tim you could always do what my friend did with his Smittybilt tube bumpers on his 74 Chevy Blazer !!!

He filled all the tubes with lead shot , whatever he hits now will have some damage !!!

The deer? Probably too bruised to be any good. I hit it square in the side and then it barrel rolled about ten times. I was surprised how it kept rolling. Called it in and it's gone today.
