Yeah I may put it up. It’s gonna be a tough sale with the mileage and trail rash I think. But I’ve taken care of it and the mods may make up for it. It really is a truck that someone needs to buy to use and not be afraid to damage. Which may be someone’s cup of tea.

Looking for some local advice. I have the Bilstein 5100 shocks on MTB ‘11 Tacoma. What’s the group think of the Old Man Emu kits. I’d like to get the rear leafs, hangers, and front coils. I don’t want to go crazy big so I can keep it somewhat in the garage

I think I finally found some bumpers I really like. Coastal off-road.

They’re a weld together package so they’re fairly cheap, at least compared to others, and claim to have the highest approach/departure angles. And they don’t stick out real far like others I’ve seen.

So, I’m not that good of a welder....do any of you all weld/know a good welder that won’t charge me an arm and a leg to put these together? I know you get what you pay for with welding most of the time but I’m still trying to get a good price.

OME was my first kit. They have put new stuff out since I had them, but they are extremely reliable. Leafs squeeked a bit. I’ve since changed to kings and deavers as my mods have become a little more extravagant

I'm considering switching from OME to Kings upfront. Is there a realistic difference in daily driving ride quality?

For just On road I don’t think it would be worth the money for kings honestly. There was a pretty different feeling off-road between mine but my kings have been tuned.
Honestly though it’s been 6 or 7 years or so and blistiens and icons In between and none of those were tuned for my weight/speed off-road it’s a little hard to remember exactly how it felt on the road.

I do love my kings though. Just get them tuned for exactly what you’re gonna do with the truck.

Or put that $ towards other goodies
    Or try these https://ok4wd.com/toyota/tacoma/sus...-overs-and-rear-shocks-for-2005-toyota-tacoma

I weld and just recently moved into a shop, but I’m in Cleveland.

    Beautiful GSD!

    Kings FTW.

OME is just OEM with some sugar on top.

Haha nice. I did like my OME at the time though.
Awesome..and thanks...Little too far for me to drop off but I could conglomerate all the welding stuff I need done and make a day or 2 out of it, maybe pick up some welding tips haha
What kind of goodies do you have in the shop...don’t happen to have a small plate bender or tube bender in there do ya? I’ve had an idea but I can’t make it. Need to bend aluminum and weld it for one and bend tube for another.

99% chance I'll be moving to Dayton next May. Just spent the last week there and I'm in love with the area. The weather is great, and barely any people compared to the DC area. And all the corn fields crack me up. It's everywhere! Anyways, can't wait to wheel with y'all. This is my truck.
