That looks weird as hell. What are the manufacturers specs on that tire? Some will be way off of the advertised numbers. Plus wheel width plays a large role

No BLO for you! But realistically you'll be too damn tired and will probably pass out after the install and a shower. So if you'd like, you can crash here. Just need to know right now so I can go clean the spare bedroom lol

They are km2s tire width says a true 10.5 tread width is 8 inches. 32.8 on diameter
The maxx is 10.2 width and a 8.1 inch tread width and also 32.8
The only other factor is they are mounted on factory Toyota fj40 wheels that are a miniscule 5.5 inches wide...

Hmmm, odd. Those just look so skinny to me. If you're on the fence just stick with 285s then! You know you like them. Or join the 295 club like me.

Well that's good news for me then, so I don't have to go clean my guest bedroom lol

Guess we've got to cancel then because I don't want you getting in a wreck on the 4 hour drive here.

The rim width is probably pinching thet down quite a bit.
Idk.. I want to like the skinnies but I'm having a hard time risking like $900 ish on tires to possibly dislike them.

I hear you. I was really unsure if I would like them when I initially bought them. I loved them, but I just liked wider tires just a little bit more and couldn't get that thought out of my head. As is apparent, the wide tire won. Just go with your gut and grab some 285s. Or wider.

You weren't shittin' about being 8 years old! And2 month's too. Damn. They do look pretty good for 20k with wheeling and all. Are those the E range?

If I had to be honest, that's the only con on the RGs. Even the 33" is 55 lbs. E range, which is just 4 or 5 lbs heavier than the C.

Not sure. My work schedule is HOPEFULLY changing and if so, I’ll find out tomorrow. I’ll have an answer then.

We can tentatively plan on next Thursday afternoon though. I’ll be free either way.

I've got chunks out of my treads like that. That date code worries me the most tire manufacturers recc replacement at the 5-6 yr mark
