They definitely do not look all that terrible for 8 years of sun exposure and wheeling. They are E load range, one of the reason I wanted to possibly try something new since they are so freakin stiff on small imperfections on the road. They are very jarring, and the only thing I don't like about them.

Yes that date code worries me too, enough to want to replace them asap, I have had them since new and have put in their work for me by now.

 

Also the 25th group, have we decide on a wheeling location for sure? If not, no problem just curious to figure out lodging the night before and/or after, because you all know I hate doing all that driving in one day haha

 

Rausch is what I’ve decided on solely because I want to do the flexy hill haha so far it’s just us and @twheat40 and maybe @Comatose if we get his HC bumper on in time.

 

285 measures out to be about 11.2 inches, but it should also be considered this was just a test, those tires are on 5.5 inch wide wheels so the tread is going to be a bit narrower.

 

Holy shit that’s a narrow wheel. That explains a lot.

 

So that reminds me I'll be heading up the first weekend in Nov for a wheeling trip. @EatSleepTacos is in so are @BravesTaco95 and @FadedComa . Plans are tentatively to wheel Rausch one day then AOAA the next. I'll be there from the 1-5.

That's funny! I did go with Synthetic since Smittybilt replaced it under warranty. I have one of those stealth winch lines that stores inside the bumper.

 

That would be a pain in the ass to use on the trail.

It's good that they warrantied it!
