    Dont mind at all!

    $100 Spintech 3000 sportsman muffler

    $80 for install
    $80 for exhaust re route
    $20 Tip- got me in same day, and they were cool as hell!

    I will dynomat the area under the rear passenger seat and rear backside cab to take away just a tad of noise. Literally sounds B.A. smitten like a kitten. In hindsight I would not have had them install higher then stock as it added just a tad too much sound...haha!

    awesome. can you please let me know how the sound is above 3 or 4k rpm? my TRD loses its deep note up there. i removed the rear cats, so i was thinking of adding a resonator (or 2) right after the Y pipe to kind of do what the cats were doing in terms of resonance. this is maybe a better solution, because I'm also looking for a smaller muffler than the TRD if i can find one that sounds good...

    @St.Germain

    So it is by far the lowest V8 sounding rumble (deep note) below 2500 rpm muffler I and my peoples have heard. I have driven a taco with the Trd and MBRP exhausts and believe whole heartedly the Spintech has the lowest "meatiest" rumble out of all of them. Also keeps the deep tones longer into the rpm range. That being said ALL exhausts or mufflers in my experience on a V6 can only sound so deep, especially when you get past 3000. In my opinion it is a deeper sound between 3000-4000rpm, but not like a V8.....more "transformer" "performance" soundingo_O but deeper tone then both the TRD and MBRP. The MBRP had a drone that wouldnt go away and the TRD was def a little "less" then a deep tone I was looking for, but both are awesome none the less. I chose this system due to the design and end sound Spintech systems make. I've had Spintech mufflers on most all my vehicles. I am not a salesmen for them nor have any association with them...its just for the money and for the sound, they are in a league of their own. Their sound is so particular and different I couldn't go any other way. There is a drone right at 1200 rpm, but just down shift into 5th or give a little more gas and it goes away. For some reason I couldnt get the MBRP to not drone, I think its due to the size of the piping...the larger you go above stock, the more drone in my experience. The TRD was great as well but the sound just wasnt "deep" enough. So in the end this system to me does have a deeper tone then both at 3000-4000 rpm...but its never gonna be the "small block in the water" sound we all hope for out of our 3.5L V6's. For me its Spintech or nothing! Hope this helps, check out youtube there's a guy with a video of a taco with a spintech. For some reason it wont let me upload my video clips...still figuring out this "technology shit" ha!

    I bought it at Spintech's website. I got the 3000, which they say is the "old man's over 40 sound" haha. The higher the model, the louder!

    Thanks for the write up and info. It seems like the Spintech would gain a little clearance over the stock muffler without raising it?

    This is what it says everytime I try to upload the video's of the sound. I am not a "technological" guy.....I'm the guy who spends half the year in the desert with the cacti. So I'm not really sure how to get this work.....wah wah.:annoyed::angrygirl:

    I checked all youtube vids and none of them sounded particularly special, have the link for the one that sounds the closest to yours?

    In my experience, unless this is recorded with decent audio equipment, it won't sound as good or as real as it actually sounds.

    Took off the mbrp today and out on the TRD exhaust. I can finally have conversations with myself again. I missed me.

    @Carter'sTaco

    What type of file is this, MP4 video or just sound like an mp3? Not sure the website lets you upload those 2 formats.

    It would have to be through youtube or Vimeo which seems faster to use. https://vimeo.com/upload

    No worries, happy to do it!

    Absolutely it would! I definitely didnt have to mount it higher, and if you plan to get a muffler or exhaust...I would not recommend it! o_O There's no doubt its adding to the already loud but AWESOME sound! Haha! I had in my mind that because its my DD im only going to run 265/75/16's so 31.6" instead of 33's to keep the mpg up...so less clearance for offroad..was literally trying to get every inch I could out her.

    TRD on my 2018. I put it on about the same time as TRD CAI and both add a little coolness (and a tiny bit of performance).

    I have notice that as you get a few miles on the CatBack, the sound gets deeper but I've not had much of any highway drone so I'm happy with it.

    Here you go guy and gals. I just put it on youtube! Ha!

    I agree 100%, check out the video link at the top...as "deep" as it sounds in the video, it doesnt do it any justice! Wah,wah....also it sounds completely different in the cab driving as it does listening from the outside. I can still have a normal convo with my 2 boys...nice.

    I'd have to agree! She was in traffic for an hour, shut down for 10 minutes...then this was the next start. This was taken with a half broken samsung s8.

    For me, if I didnt know it was a 3.5L V6 Taco...I would never has guessed it....but damn me as I watch the 21.5mpg ive been getting fade away!!:annoyed:

    No, I got the regular 3000 sportsman, 2.5 in-2.5 out!
    I ordered it online, arrived quickly and then put on about 6 coats of high temp black paint. Installed next day. BAM!
