It's more amazing just given the small size of the river. I have seen a handful of the 6 pounders in the river but I haven't caught a look at this monster yet. I have spent many days on this river and always hear kayakers saying "I saw a fish the size of a shark"

The other issue is I normally fish with a 3 weight on this river, sometimes a 5 weight and hooking into that monster brown would not end well in those scenarios haha

Busted CV boots and lots of squeaks.
    I know right!?

I fished it this morning until around 11:00. When I got out the sun was shining real good, when the rod would catch the sun, it looked like something out of "Tron".

I am now a glass fan. Slow it down and let the rod pull it for you.

Yes! Got me into a massive brown the day before too.. Lost it just before it was in tailing distance. :boom:

Haunted me so bad in my sleep I had to go back.

Man it’s beautiful out there. I got there a few months early for the “good fishing” but the Bow produces massive bulls, rainbows and browns all year round!! Need to go back.

Pulled in this hawg yesterday evening. Took me well over 5 mins to get her in. Wasn’t expecting anything big, so I was throwing 6X. Ran me waaay downstream and put on a nice aerial acrobatics show. The last picture has an arrow pointing to the tree where I hung her...

Definitely the best fight have had in a while. 22” on 6X is fun. Lol. I wish I had my GoPro on during it. Even more fun than the 21” I caught on the 3 weight a while back.
