    I know this is a long shot - but at this stage I have to, as y'all say here in America, throw a hail mary! I hop ethis is OK to post here??

    I own a 2012 double cab Tacoma TRD Offroad - bought from my neighbour in Hyde Park who owned it from new. I have loved driving it in Texas, including road trips to Marfa, Tulsa, New Mexico and Colorado. But - we are moving back to Australia in a few months so I will be selling the Taco after one last road trip with my parents (from Scotland) and our dogs. I am considering renting an SUV (ugh) but I am putting it out there that I would also pay to rent a short bed topper from someone locally, for two weeks. I have no idea whether anyone would do this, but I would pay a reasonable amount to avoid having to rent a Suburban or something, just to keep my parents happy

    On a happier note, will be buying a Hilux when we get to Australia :)

    I've got a short bed soft top. I would take a down payment of the price to buy one new, then once received back in the same or better condition that was given, I would refund less the amount in which you think is reasonable for the rental. You will need a 5ftx3/4" adhesive Velcro strip to secure the front of the topper. Any damages incurred can be played with the down payment.
